How to use Precast Gels

  1. Open the Gel Pouch Using Scissors
  2. Pill off the Seal Cover, pour out completely the Residual Buffer
  3. Remove the Up &Down sides of the tray (with gel in) with Ladder Banks by flexing them down &away one side at a time
  4. Measure the internal height of your gel box to make the 14well Tray Holder fit to it. Insert the side of the gel tray holder clip, placing the gel tray at the bottom of the gel box, hang another end of the try holder over the gel box wall.
  5. If you have a sample gel and do not have the gel tray holder, simply place the tray at the bottom of the gel box with left side flush with the side wall of the gel box. Use peppit tip to stabilize the gel trays.
  6. Add Buffer (1XTAE or TBE) into the gel box. Load DNA or RNA samples. Cover the gel box, run Electrophoresis.
    Safe Disposal Precast Gels
    You can dispose the precast gel after using into the regular garbage can let it dry out, it will be totally safe and non-haxardous
    Caution: Gloves should be worn.
